Ministry Info

(aka The Necessary Stuff)

So, you’ve wandered into the “official” corner of the website — where we do our best to keep things honest, clear, and above board… without putting you to sleep.

Who We Are

I Am Abiding is a Jesus-centered ministry birthed from years of pain, healing, and the kind of stubborn grace that only God can give. We’re here to help weary hearts rediscover what it means to live from union with Christ — not striving for Him, but abiding in Him.

The ministry was founded by Glenn Davis (that’s me), with the support of some dear lifelong friends and fellow travelers. We’re not flashy. We don’t have a marketing department (it shows, we know). Just a calling, a few loaves and fish, and a firm trust that God still multiplies the small things.

What We Believe

We believe Jesus is the center of everything — not just the starting point of faith, but the whole journey. Without Him, we’re lost. With Him, even the detours start to make sense.

The Bible is trustworthy, God-breathed, and still speaks — even if some parts make us scratch our heads (and maybe Google a map of ancient Mesopotamia).

We believe the Holy Spirit is alive and active — comforting, convicting, healing, leading — and not limited to formulas, denominations, or our personal preferences.

At the core, we hold to the indisputable truths of Christianity: Jesus is fully God and fully man, He lived, died, rose again, and He’s coming back (on His timetable, not ours). Salvation is by grace through faith, and transformation is something God does from the inside out.

We’re not here to win debates or pick theological fights. Being “heresy hunters” isn’t our thing. Though it’s important to talk about teaching and practices that hinder believers in their abiding in Christ, it should be done with love, kindness, and respect.

We’re here to help people actually live in Christ — not just learn about Him. If that sounds like you, welcome home.

And if you’re wondering what theological label we wear… well, we like to think of ourselves as Bible-rooted, Spirit-led, grace-soaked, and aiming to be fully surrendered to our Lord with a deep appreciation for genuine fellowship, honest questions, ministering to one another, and the occasional awkward silence during prayer time.

In short: we’re abiding. And we’re inviting others to do the same.

Legal Bits

(brief and painless — you’re welcome)

I Am Abiding is a faith-based ministry organized under the leadership of Glenn Davis and a founding board of advisors. We’re officially registered with the State of Colorado — where the mountains are high, and so is the stack of paperwork we had to fill out.

We’re currently in the process of applying for IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status and fully expect to receive approval by July 2025 (Lord willing and the IRS doesn’t get lost in their own forms).

If you give before that official approval — first of all, thank you! — your donation will not yet be tax-deductible. But once we’re approved, we’ll retroactively update donors whose gifts fall within the eligible timeframe. Just check back here, or keep an eye on our updates. We’ll make it clear when that switch flips.

Every penny given goes directly into the ministry — to create content, encourage hearts, cover basic infrastructure, and keep Glenn from trying to fund things with couch cushion change. We take stewardship seriously and aim to multiply the little, just like Jesus always seems to do.

Disclaimers

(Because apparently we have to say this if we had lawyers)

Everything we share — videos, podcasts, words, and awkward moments — is intended to encourage and equip you spiritually. It’s not medical advice, legal counsel, or a substitute for therapy (though we absolutely believe Jesus can meet you in all of those spaces).

And by no means how God uses this ministry is to replace the appropriate and skillful labor in learning God’s Word… I won’t approach anything close to a seminary class (out of my deep respect for those professionals who dedicate their lives to such).

Personally, I have received tremendous help from godly men and women of mature faith, wise mentors, professionaly trained counselors, and a few hard conversations about my own health and healing. Sometimes the breakthrough came in a prayer room. Other times, it came on a quiet hiking trail — away from the noise, praying and suddenly realizing, “Oh… this is what You were trying to show me all along.”

(Also, I’ve been known to draw spiritual encouragement from The Lord of the Rings. Just kidding. Mostly. 😉)

So if you need help beyond what we offer here, we cheer you on in getting it. God’s not afraid of doctors, counselors, second opinions, and being a “Berean” by confirming all things in His Word. He’s the Lord of all healing and growth— not just the dramatic kind, but the slow, steady, quiet kind too.

We don’t spy. We don’t sell. We barely know how to use half this tech.

We only collect the info you freely give — like your name, email, or a message — and we use it solely to respond. If you joined the newsletter, you can unsubscribe anytime — no guilt, no judgment. (Just maybe be gentle. Glenn’s doing his best over here.)

We use simple tools (like Google Analytics) that rely on cookies to understand what pages people visit. We don’t use them to track individuals — and frankly, we don’t even know how to.

We do not — and will not — rent, sell, or manipulate your information for anything. We like sleeping at night.

This site isn’t intended for children under 13.
But… if your kid does end up here and Jesus meets them through it — we hope you’re okay with that.

Got a question about anything you’ve read here? Want to share a testimony, a story, or even a corny dad joke? If you have questions, use the button below. I’ll respond like a real person. Questions about website stuff, analytics, or synching social media? Pls don’t…. this site is running on prayer and (a lot of) duct tape.

Go for it — I’m all ears.
