This Isn’t a Church Site.

It's a Vine-n-Branches Thing

The Church doesn’t need better branding.

It needs Jesus.

The truth is, many believers today are quietly stepping away from traditional, in-person church gatherings — and often, for good reason.

Some have been wounded by toxic leadership.

Others are weary of churches that are “100% doctrinally correct” yet strangely absent of the power and presence of the Holy Spirit.

Still others have left hyper-charismatic spaces that claim to move in the Spirit… but seem to have left sound doctrine somewhere between their favorite coffee shop and the parking lot.

Grievously, many Christian leaders have started adding to what Christ never required — like insisting believers must be baptized before receiving communion.

It’s left many wandering.
Not because they’ve lost faith in Jesus — but because they’re desperate to find Him again… without all the noise.

Crowds flocked to Jesus because He made access to the Father simple and clear.
That hasn’t changed.

What people long for is still not found in religion — but in Christ alone.

And those who have wandered?
They don’t need to be reminded that they have.

They know.

The lost son knew he was far from the Father.
What he needed was to see the way home —
the Light that would guide his steps back into the Father’s arms.

Whether you see yourself as a prodigal, a rule-wearied soul, or a faithful steward waiting for your Master,
the truth remains:

We all need Jesus.

Many people today are searching for a space — often online — where they can encounter real truth, be led by the Spirit, and grow in Christ…
without having to earn their seat at the table.

That’s why this ministry exists.

To meet people right where they are — online or in person.
To speak truth.
To stir faith.
To make space for the fullness of the Spirit to restore and rebuild.

And to help people abide in Jesus — no matter where they’re coming from.

With Christ, there’s nothing you need to earn. Nothing you have to prove.

You already have a place — prepared just for you — to simply abide in Him.

People are more connected to their phones than ever.
So if that’s where their eyes — and hearts — are drawn…
then that’s where the Gospel must go.

That’s the heartbeat behind I Am Abiding.

We’re not here to replicate church in a digital box.
And we’re definitely not here to build another platform just to churn out “Christian content.”

We’re here to lift up a Person.
(Preferably without falling off the platform.)

Because Jesus is still healing. Still restoring.
Still speaking. Still saving.

And He’s not limited to buildings, stages, or polished sermons.

His Spirit still moves—across the deep places of our hearts, and far into them—to heal us, transform us, and speak to us.

He meets people in living rooms, hospital beds, mountain trails, the bustle of life,
and yes… even while scrolling a screen.

Will this online ministry eventually become a growing community?
Maybe. Only God knows.

But we’re not chasing numbers.

What we truly desire—deeply and passionately—is real community: honest, imperfect, Spirit-filled, and rooted in love.

And while most of this ministry happens online, I’m also available to speak in person—whether it’s a church, a small group, or a room full of people quietly wondering how I got invited in the first place.

(As Paul once said… don’t be surprised if I show up and you think, “He’s not very impressive in person.” Totally fair.)

And if you hang around here long enough, you’ll probably encounter:

Jesus (hopefully first)

A few eye-roll-worthy jokes

Maybe some random fact about history or astronomy that points to God’s greatness

And a moment where I butcher a Bible verse, realize it later… and come back to fix it.
(It’s going to happen.)

Welcome to I Am Abiding.

Abide in Christ — because He is abiding in you.
(And if you trip over your own branches like I do, there’s grace for that too.)

We’re so glad you’re here. 🌿

If you’re wondering what this is all about (or just want to see how many Bible verses I misquote in real time)…
come walk with us a while.
